Rest, relax, and rejuvenate are what our Green Mountain resort is all about, so you don't have to do
anything if you don't want to!
That said there are many fun and interesting things to do, both on and off our secluded mountain escape:
When considering an Autumn Escape, the East Dorset area and Emerald Lake should be in your plans.  For
those who have never experienced the vibrant fall foliage of Southwestern Vermont, we look forward to
guiding you as you discover the dramatic blazing autumn colors.  Wheather you choose to stroll beneath the
centuries old oaks and maples in the local villages, or take a drive up to Lake Champlain  in central Vermont,
we’ll be happy to customize an itinerary that will make the most of the spectacular New England season.
Whether in daily use or simply there to be explored, Vermont covered bridges are a unique feature of the
Vermont landscape, taking us back to a distant time and place. Our team will be happy to create a custom
Covered Bridge itinerary for your visit, which will provide you with the covered bridge locations and a
short description of each bridge.  There are more covered bridges per square mile in Vermont than any
other place in the world, with 107 authentic covered bridges located throughout the state.
